Featured Barrowfield pottery Glasgow Irish Whiskey Stoneware jug help

    I bought this 7 1/2" tall jug at my favorite thrift the other day. I know that h Kennedy started the company in 1861 so that pretty much dates it to 1860's 1870's I think.
    I researched and could not find another jug with the same writing and could not find information on A G Thomson in Glasgow. Although there is a lot of Thomson's that were making Whiskey in Ireland at the time.
    Also, the word Jeroboam, and Irish Seal Whiskey I was not able to figure out either.

    Bulldoggy-Congrats,that's one heck of a Thrift ! Staff looks to be in an ambulatory coma.

    Jeroboam is usually a capacity of liquid in Champagne like Magnum.
