Vintage bicycle badge/plate ID

    Screenshot_20241216_085638_LiveAuctioneers.jpg Hello, I've came across a bicycle badge that I need to ID. Would this be from the factory or an aftermarket piece. Bicycle looks like a Schwinn Liberty. 50s maybe

    Starts with an "F." A photograph of the entire bike would be helpful.

    does it look like five or flyer (western) maybe? I will try to post a photo of bike

    My intention isn't to be rude but... I (personally) am unable to assist until I see a photograph of the bike. Its construction is key to identifying the maker, model and date of your bike. For instance, I took the time to find a (1950s) version of the Western Flyer. It is not a match. More research without full information (i.e. a photograph of the bike) would be wheel-spinning. (No pun intended.) Fyi, I also took the time to do a Google Lens search of your badge; I did not come up with a match. You might want to do a Google Images search for "vintage bicycle badge", if you haven't done so already.

    I was that boy's age in the early '50s. Never saw a kid dressed like that; black, shiny shoes, cuffs on his pressed slacks, a belt holding 'em up...an' a sweet plaid shirt, but a cheap one with a patch pocket, rather than cut to match the pattern...especially on or near a bicycle.
    Interesting social commentary, with the beaming young fellow forefront, while his sister(?) in the background, a-wishin' an' a-hopin' she could have one of those, too. Tsk...we Have come a long way...haven't we?

    Somehow, this old song comes to mind...in context:

    Wearing the same shabby dress...
    So when she's weary, try a little tenderness.

    From the limited photos, this bicycle looks like it must have been drug out of a canal or left outside for 50 years. Going to be a major project for someone.
