Featured Best Finds of 2024?

Hi everyone! I’m wondering what your best finds were for 2024?

I had a very slow year because I am hoping to purchase a house this year, and already have too much in storage— so I avoided the antiques! This lady was in Oxfam, too big and unusual to ignore {for £10}. My guess is that she hasn’t strayed far from her makers (a Scottish figure).

I remember going past Prestonpans in a train. My brother lives in Scotland not far from Haddington. I love reading all the place names as you go past. And I really like your fishwife. I would've been chuffed if I had found something like it!

Scotland is a lovely place to source names and pottery I think You should come back on holiday!

 

I'll probably be back this year. My son wants me to take him. Good enough excuse for me!

 

Lost my wife of 49 years in April of 2024. Been going to sales as usual though, and found this little gem for $40. I was more than amazed that it was there when I showed up fairly late in the proceedings.
