Featured Please help ID this Asian pitcher

Hello all,

I bought this small pitcher today at a local flea market.

It is marked on the bottom with Asian writing, perhaps Chinese or Japanese.

Any idea as to the marker, age, etc.?

It is pottery and is not translucent.

Molded, meant for export. Is it a creamer size? Kind of a strange looking thing IMO, but it’s neat. I’d have grabbed it for a couple bucks.
