Featured Antique silver cup/ candle holder?

Another item i need your help is this vase? Candle holder wich is richly decorated. There are several marks stamoed in which i cant deciper. On the bottom i think i see the dutch hallmark z1.

Any information on use, maker and age is welcome. Thank you

 

What size is it? What does the interior look like?
My knee-jerk reaction is that it held some sort of glass vessel, like for flowers.

 

Its 15 cm high and Ppr 8 cm wide

ZI and ZII usually indicate that an item was imported and assayed to be sold in the Netherlands.
ZI indicates a fineness of .925 or higher.

You occasionally see the Z marks on antique Dutch silver that re-entered the retail market.

I agree with Bluumz, it looks like it held something else, maybe a glass liner.

 

Also agree. Probably missing a glass trumpet vase insert. Something like this:

 

The diamter is to big for a trompet vase. Perhaps a liqure decanter , glass tumbler or maggi or icecube holder without a ear. What do you think?
