Help with signature on old oriental man painting

I saw this at a thrift store today & automatically put it in my carr(lol), but as I was looking things over prior to checking out, I tried to read the signature on this painting, but every name I tried (I just tried a first name because that was the best one I could make out)
So I asked the manager to hold it for 1 day until I had a chance to check with this forum & you all.
Can anyone make out / or recognize the artist's name?
Would you buy this if signature remains unknown (it will probably be $20 - $25)?

Even if it weren't decorative, the subject matter has a very narrow audience.

 

I wouldn’t buy. His ear seems to be incorrectly placed.
