Featured Staffordshore Figural?

    Hello everyone - been awhile since I posted. Hope all have been well. I'm getting over the remnants of the flu. That and arguing with US Post Office over an insurance claim has made me a bit cantankerous. Anyway, I have this figuratively grouping that I think is a copy of a Staffordshire figural. It stands about 9 1/8 inches tall but would probably be a little taller if not for an unfortunate accident. Is this Staffordshire or a wannabe? Google image search did not pull up an exact match. Thanks you for whatever help you can provide. Don

    I am no help on Staffordshire anything but I'm sure glad to see you back! I hope the flu bug is gone gone gone! Fluids, rest, read the funnies thread!

    Thank you, Linda. There I was happily romping through the diasies thinking I didn't have to worry since I'd had my flu shot when BAM! I hate to think of how much worse it could have been if I hadn't had the shot. I didn't know they have a swab test for the flu just like they have for COVID now. You can get them over the counter but I had mine at the clinic. I have been busying myself with my latest addiction of Lego botanicals. Fluids, rest, and botanicals!

    I think it's legit. Ordinarily, the back is left unpainted, but someone took some trouble with this one. It is a spill vase.

    Thank you, kentworld. I was considering but using it for a repair project if fake, but guess it's best to leave as is. Very much appreciate your opinion.

    I think that it's right but with the damage not a particularly valuable item.
