Featured Glass Art Deco trinket or vanity box, help please

This glass box came with an auction lot, and I know next to nothing about it.
I'm guessing it is an Art Deco trinket box, possibly part of a vanity set. The cross-band pattern is on every side, also on the bottom (3rd photo).
There is some fritting around the edges, and after I took the photos I noticed some sticky residu from tape which once held box and lid together. Work to be done.
Found in the Netherlands.

Please tell me more about origin (Czech?), age, purpose, anything.

So they say 1930s, which is what I thought. They call it orange malachite glass, which it is strange, but I guess they relate it to Schlevogt malachite glass. Given that term and that it is a Czech site, it could be Czech made.

 

There's also a green version

 

On a Japanese site thiy're selling this as a "Bohemian Agate Glass Box"

 

The green is more like malachite glass.

Is Bohemia the brand name or simply because it was made in Bohemia?

Sure looks like a cigarette box. The other example shown has the matching ashtray. My parents and aunts & uncles had decorative cigarette boxes all over the house.

 

Now there's a thought. It is from the era that smoking was still very acceptable.

So did mine.
