Huge brass bowl... thoughts on origin?

    This is HUGE. And heavy. I can't decide if it's a French water bowl or from somewhere North African.

    I should have taken a base photo, too dark now. It's distinctly rounded.

    Flat bottom and straight sides, maybe a Spanish brasero, brazier?

    Base photos. The bottom is slightly rounded, looks as though it was made that way. Very slightly angled sides.

    I have no idea, but I would buff it on a wheel with some bees wax and it will blind you to look at it. I love the piece.
