Featured large rustic pottery vase

Hi folks

something i picked up yesterday in my mates house clearance shop.

thought it was old at first, but thinking now more of a studio piece

lots of interesting things going on in it

totally unsigned

rounded bottom

any thoughts or info appreciated

 

the turquoise can stay hidden in this one

 

Is that really pottery? It seems to have a polished stone look.

wow those hips, i thought i was more drawn to a slender body, until now

 

. The trouble with big hips on most of us is they only come complete with everything else being large.

 

maybe i guess, will have to get a light inside to see any signs of real age

The round base looks made to rest in the sand. I hope it is the real deal. If not, you'll still have a very nice vessel/vase.

i'm trying to think what the blue colour on it is, like a residue

yeah i've tasted that concoction before mate, but this one tastes a bit more sour, and did nothing for my hemorrhoids
