Hallmark question

I picked this up at a flea market in Paris a number of years ago because I liked it and I use it all the time. Since I'm looking at silver today I thought I'd check the hallmark. Google says the shamrock with TH below it is a fake mark created to fool people into thinking their piece is sterling. It was only 4Euro so I never thought it was, but I'm curious about the claim. For real - it's a known fake hallmark? I've always collected glass & china so know very little about silver.

 

Looks like there is brass coming through, in the last pic, so probably plated.

 

It is a standard French electroplate mark - no attempt to deceive. French silver makers' marks are in a diamond shape; electroplate makers use a square. TH is Théodore Henry, active during the 1870s and 1880s. See https://www.silvercollection.it/FRENCHSILVERPLATEMARKSPZ.html

Thanks! I kept trying and could not find anything except that one bit of information. We were in Paris with our Belgian friends and went to the Moulin Rouge. There's a huge flea market there on Sundays. I could have spent the whole day, but being with others they dragged me away. I got this and a lovely ivory snuff box and a bone and silver pendant which I think is Berber. All for less than $8.00. So many missed treasures. I have vowed to go again, but the opportunity has not arisen
