Artwork comments-please

Hi all,I ended up not buying this yesterday (but it was very close) I did buy 3 other artwork at the same shop (however I manage to confirm/verify the artists on my own)I liked it but was wondering if it was an amateur/student artist? Signed Marna? and perhaps ‘50? However a 70’s date made more sense to me. It’s large artwork size is maybe 75x90cm. Any thoughts appreciated. Skill level of artist? Thanks

 

There's intention behind this one for the mark making and abstraction decisions. The signature being a first name isn't typical for most professional artists though. So my guess is someone with some art training.
