I picked this up on a whim at an auction....they were advertised (I know, I know....) as MCM.
To me, they may be "mid century" but I'm failing to see the "modern".
My best description would be turned wood candlestick lamps with a tin shade. Not sure if there's any value in these (I did see several online advertised for big bucks, but they were mostly brass by my recollection). Thoughts? 20250313_193420_copy_750x1000.jpg 20250313_193715_copy_750x1000.jpg

It looks like a marriage to me. It's awkward. That heavy wooden base and then the candlestick part and that tiny shade. They just don't go together

Agree re marriage. The eye can't quite make sense of it. A lamp? Does it have a plug?

Dare I say that it looks like a hobbyist's woodturning project?
