What lovely pieces, your mom had good taste! I particularly love the the globe lamp, the curved cabinet and the little dresser with the metal (?) drawer pulls....I think you have a lot of marketable items, it's just a matter of how much time do you have, and i really think location matters. I sell a lot near Seattle, and get decent money for items that wouldn't sell nearly as well as it would in the midwest, for example. Estate sale is probably your best bet....although I would look for stamps/brands on the items, and Google lens as much as you can to get some baseline info, just to make sure you're not overlooking a diamond in there!

Yes, that yellow pitcher. It may have a makers mark underneath.

I concur with an estate sale.

Gotcha. I haven't been able to make it back over there yet, hopefully soon. I'm keeping it at the front of my mind.

Here is the underside of the table with the marble top. It's the only writing I saw anywhere on it.

Other than the writing on the butter churn, I didn't notice any writing or marking on the other pieces.

    The yellow pitcher.

    Nothing on the bottom.

I found this note inside. It apparently belonged to my dad's mother.

    I've got some measurements. All in inches. 20250224_194619~2.jpg 20250224_194333~2.jpg 20250224_194250~2.jpg 20250224_194133~2.jpg 20250224_194038~2.jpg 20250224_194004~2.jpg 20250224_193952~2.jpg 20250224_193934~2.jpg 20250224_193917~2.jpg 20250224_193702~2.jpg

Not sure what kind of input on the rest of this you are looking for. A couple observations based on what I can see. Nice stained glass lamp that has some age to it. The yellow pitcher looks like Bauer Ringware and, as such, can not date as the note states. Believe it would be from the 1930s so maybe they have it confused with a different pitcher along the way. Not sure that the marble on the single drawer stand is original to the piece. Just doesn't look quite right and these usually had wood tops. Looks like quite a few nice things among the small items. I don't see anything wildly valuable but all-told worth evaluating individually.

Agree re Bauer Ringware pitcher. 1930s Art Deco. And easily recognizable as such. Family story must have gotten twisted somewhere (as can happen.)

A few people pointed out some items before and mentioned about markings on the bottom so I was just throwing in some extras here and there for any reference. . .

I imagine the story may have gotten altered or misunderstood when ever that note was made, maybe mis-typed, 1828 instead of 1928?

A number of people have stated that an estate sale may be the best option, we will probably lean toward that, I imagine, when we get to that point.

The more I think I'm guessing it might be a typo, 1828 instead of 1928. Possibly could have gotten mixed up or exaggerated.

"Great-great grand-mother' implies some age. Perhaps the information became affixed to a different item?

    Ringware wasn't introduced until 1933.
