handpainted lidded jars

Hi folks

cool little find from tother day,mighty pound each

there were 3, but one had damage (still should have bought it), as might have been a set thinking about it

zero nada marks

am i right in thinking not trinkets but more ladies vanity items ?

decoration seems more 19thc than earlier but unsure

any help appreciated

 

Not trinket, but like you some vanity item, I think with some cream or similar. Likely later half of 19th c.

I think cream too. I would think early 20th century and possibly German
