~4 1/4" wide X ~4 1/8" high framed; the image substrate appears to be a thin slab of resin, without any grain...it's quite soiled but I believe it can be cleaned without damaging the image.

The artist isn't well-enough known to show, so far, in my modest Google search. Is anything about it known or suspected by y'all? Thanks for lookin'!

Its a nice painting but Ive loathed sea gulls since the time a friend and I were dirt broke but managed to scrape up enough money to get a $2 cheese pizza .We were so hungry we decided to eat it there at an outdoor table. No sooner than I flipped the lid to dig in when a gull shat right smack in the middle of it . I was BITTER ! And have hated them every since. :)

So Charlotte (1984) did a copy of a Claudia Nice (1983) piece, which makes sense because Claudia made How to Draw books. Then it was purchased with the intent of giving as a gift 2 years after it was done (1986).

Is it painted on glass? You said resin...plexi? It seems to have a shadow and I can't tell if that's photos playing tricks on me lol.

I was at Sea World in San Diego, DH and I just got hot dogs and were hading for a bench to eat. I felt a bang on my left shoulder, looked down and my hot dog was gone. A sea gull had swooped down and stole it :p

Right here in Port Angeles...in a local woman's exquisitely eclectic hoard. We're clearing ~45 years of compulsive collecting; she is now sadly in deep dementia, oblivious to most objects, including personal clothing. She largely had a damn fine eye, in her day.

Ah, that makes sense. Because the publisher of 'Wings over Water' is based in Portland, OR. That makes it more likely your artist is regional. (And I read Charlotte Laur too.)
