    I am sure this is a ashtray, Spelter, about 11 inches long. My question is, in her hands is a pocket to put something into. Any ideas if it was for Cigarettes , Cigars, or a Matchbox?

    Matchbook. And she appears to be missing the ashtray itself which would be off to the side.

    You have to ash very carefully and gently into the small of her back/top of her buttocks. Only room for about half a cigarette at a time though.
