I have been terribly remiss at photographing finds of late. Here is one of my better ones. As usual, a thrift store find for little money. Will post some art over in the art forum as well.

This crucifix stands 21" tall. Christ figure is silver (hollow) and unmarked. I have lightly polished and re-attached. Styling is gothic but really doubt this is a period piece. Wood is mahogany.

    Questions:
    -Approximate age?
-Where made? Have seen similar sold as being French.
-Use? was this from a church? Home? Have seen a couple being sold as part of a vampire killing kit .... LOL!
-Figure likely to be solid silver?
-Have included a poll about value (vote to see results). Have seen values all over the place for similar.

    Guessing 1880s-90s.
We have similar ones here in the Netherlands, and I've also seen them for sale in Germany. If they were made in a specific country, I would guess Germany.
    Used in the home.

Here is the base. It has warped a bit and no longer sits flat. Believe the wood has been refinished at some point.
