Featured The Gods of Silver Shining Down Upon Thee!

Oh goodness gracious gobbledygook! The Gods of Silver were certainly kind to me, today!

Sitting on the shelf at the local SA thrift were these lovely sterling (weighted) candelabras! How they made it past all the other collectors, scrappers, resellers and store employees is beyond my very limited and feeble intellect.

The ONLY reason they may have been missed is the mark on both bases are extremely hard to read without a loop. But hey, they LOOK like real silver just sitting there! $17.99 price tag for each (I Paid $13.49 after 25% veterans discount).

Anyway, any idea who made them? Looks like either <M> or <N> or <W> mark. Possibly Mueck?

Weirdly enough Johnny,I still find Victorian Quadrupleplate in Portland-but of course,unless it's a wildly incredible piece (or Christofle), it's worth zilch on Ebay.Sterling's really rare here though- goes for OK money on Ebay.
The only surefire metal's still the one and only-gold.

 

Handsome set, well bought! Where single candle units don’t bring much, candelabras seem to sell pretty well.

 

All I ever see is Chinese-made silverplate, if that. Score!
