It doesn't help that I rarely "settle" these days. Can't afford to. . Tag/boot sales were absolutely devoid of anything good last year. This weekend there's an estate sale in the middle of everything; I'm praying for what may be my only tag sale score this Spring.

First outdoor picker flea market of the season today. It was all of 36 degrees and only about 14 dealers but I did find a couple of things...

A Weiss necklace, bracelet and earring set and a purse:

I found this vintage Evan Picone dress for $6 in a thrift shop. It looks blah on the hanger, but amazing on....so amazing, it's a serious contender for my 50th high reunion in October. I have a very hard time with dresses because I have a very wide back but have am more narrow in the hips (think inverted triangle.)

It's warm here in the beginning of October...I have these black ones, and I am getting these silver ones in black. I can only wear flats, and I have very wide feet, so shoes are also HTF. Back in the day, I would have worn black seamed stocking and black high heels.

I prefer the black ones with a plain dress because they have a bit more texture. And the sling backs add interest.

    It's 95% that lightweight nylon-like polyester, 5% elastine.

The top fits in a drapey fashion, the bottom is form-fitting, hugs the body.

Well, I had been whinging about not finding anything good for ages and now I have my dopamine rush. £1.50 for a 10k diamond pendant, chain not gold though. Must be karma as I was coming back from the Animal Sanctuary where I had donated 85 of my art cards with envelopes. It was 2pm too so didn’t expect to find anything at that time.

I found a Roseville pine cone vase today for $6, it had chips, and flipped it to a dealer before I was even out of the store with it. We know each other, and he should make a decent profit on it. I love when that happens!

I found this old 1940s Fire-King measuring cup yesterday for 50 cents:

It's not worth a lot of money but I always keep an eye out for them, because I keep them.
