Cranberry and Clear Candy Dish - Empoli or USA? Dorothy Thorpe?

    Hello everyone! Finally stopped raining here so I was able to get a few pictures taken. I am looking of any information on this candy dish with an etched top. It stands about 6 1/4" tall with the lid on and the opening measures 4 3/8" across. The glass is a bit on the thin side so it's fairly delicate. I wasn't able to find much on a google image search except for a few attributions to Empoli (minus source material, of course). The etching reminds me of Dorothy Thorpe. The piece is unsigned. Not sure where to look next. Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you!
