John Robert Holbrook risqué shoes poster/advertisement?

Hi.
I found this John Holbrook poster? Store display/advertisement at a thrift store last week.

I did an image search but only found one other - it simply said it was for John Robert Holbrook shoes & they'd had it for awhile.

is this a store advertisement for Holbrook shoes? (He's only wearing socks!)
Just a poster for fans?
Why aren't there more copies - there had to be more than 2 stores featuring his shoes, even if a provocative ad?

Any thoughts/help would be appreciated!

I put john robert holbrook in allposters & nothing - a lot of john f. Kennedy, though.
If I post it to sell, it is for a fragrance not shoes, right?
