This is one that came along with a lot of other bottles. I had bought the lot for other things but could not part with this little cutie. It is only 2 1/4" tall & is 1 3/8" across the bottle. I am also wondering the significance of "Alletta" - is this a name, or a place, or???

I have deciphered the Birmingham England part & I think the letter "P" is for 1910 but would love confirmation on that one.

Thanks for the date confirmation!!:kiss:

That was the period where getting things inscribed with names or the places you visited was a big thing. It is such an unusual name but then again it is a British piece so maybe it is just that I am unfamiliar. ;):):)

Maybe @silvermakersmarks will stop by.:happy:

DJE is not shown in any of my references so I am unable to identify the maker.

"Aletta" or.. Valetta? The latter is the capital of Malta and Malta belonged to the British Empire for, googled it, 150 years.

    It is definitely Alletta.

@Ownedbybear @Houseful @daveydempsey (or anyone else) - Was this a common name at that time?:happy:
