Yesterday, I bought these 2 at a car boot sale

I bought the brooche, as it wasn't expensive, and I thought it was marked as .685 silver. But when I got home, and took a better look, the 6 looked more like a G, and the 8 more like a 3

    And the bracelet
    image11.jpeg
    has this mark

Is this indeed 18K plated from Switzerland, as mentioned on various sites?

The actual reason for buying this, was to get a discount on this:

A Sankyo music bird (no idea yet what music it is that it plays...).
I already had a red one (given to me when I was a [actual] baby :shame:) that plays another tune (Brahm's Lullaby), so I just had to have this one as well :)

I love the yellow birdie! No idea on where the chain came from; the tab tells me it's 70s or 80s, and if it's aluminum I'd bet on Germany or thereabouts. Switzerland wouldn't be out of the realm. The pin looks like silver.

I have never heard of a silver fineness of .685 silver.;)
It is shaped like a Dutch gold- or silvermaker's mark, triangle G35 imo.
I don't know who triangle G35 is, but I doubt it is important to the value.
The brooch is a traditional Dutch floral brooch, but unfortunately less refined than most. The stippled back makes me think it is a later cast repro.
My guess is 18k plated from China.
    Awww.

Neither have/had I, but as someone is selling a spoon on ebay as .685 silver, I wasn't sure anymore :D

That's also what I was thinking when I took a better look at it. And I think I've seen that mark before, but I haven't been able to find it yet.

So, once again many "experts" on various sites have no idea what they're talking about

    Found one with Google Lens

This one does have the Dutch hallmark.
Still no luck finding the G35/G85 mark (I know, not worth wasting my time on trying to find it :D), with Google being very "useful" again. Searching for 'brooch' and 'G35' or 'G85', and Google shows me results with the Motorola G35/G85
