I have bought this very large and heavy chinese bronze seal. The original is of the yuan dynasty. The description of the seal is as followed:

Bronze handle button "Seal of the Grand Commandant", Northern Yuan Dynasty. The seal base has 3 layers, which are gradually gathered up. The seal text is in Phags-pa script, in red, and reads from the upper left. There is a regular script inscription on the back of the seal, "Seal of the Grand Commandant. Made by the Ministry of Rites on November 1, the first year of Xuanguang". This is an official seal of the Northern Yuan regime. Those who served as the Grand Commandant in the Yuan Dynasty and are recorded in historical records are all during the period when the Yuan regime ruled the Central Plains. This seal has the "Xuanguang" year mark, indicating that it is an official seal of the Northern Yuan regime of the Mongolian nobleman Ayurshiridara, who fled north to the Great Wall after the Yuan regime's rule in the Central Plains was overthrown. According to the "Yuan Dianzhang", the Grand Commandant was a first-rank official, with a silver seal, a peg button, and a side length of three inches. The shape of this seal is the same as that recorded in history, but it is cast in bronze, which may be related to the material and economic conditions of the Northern Yuan Dynasty.

how old could this one be? IMG_20250424_155006_1.jpg IMG_20250424_155420_1.jpg IMG_20250424_155631.jpg IMG_20250424_155021.jpg
