Last minute Compassion fares do still exist, but they're not cheap. I can't medically board a plane any more, so Customs is a problem I can't have, but I've heard some not-nice stories.

Unless you're American; traveling through Iran for us hasn't been safe since the 1970s. Russia would scare me too; a friend did just do Medical work...in Ukraine. Ukraine was safer (!). North Korea even scares North Koreans.

Too many. I also have problems. Pretty much two rooms and a garage full of tables, Victorian style chairs, lamps etc lol. Wife is planning to start a shop soon so I just help her out and go thrifting on the down time between my jobs in the city.

Today's finds at the local Wayside Christian mission bargain outlet. Knight made in Spain and the bowl is marked Andrea by sadek IMG_20250425_120126_(1080_x_1080_pixel).jpg IMG_20250425_120149_(1080_x_1080_pixel).jpg

I see a lot of things marked for Andrea by sadek but that's the first sliverplate I think I've seen. That's a lot of fun and I would have picked it up too.

Whewwww I need such luck! That's a stunning piece!

silver snuff or pill box (google search) was a great find at less that $1. The bottle (not that valuable) was just over $5. I have also liked these departmental bottles, and I have never found one so complete (especially with all the little stoppers) IMG_8607.jpeg

I had that bench in Denver ! Someone had left it in the alley . I carried it like 12 blocks and it weighed a ton . If I remember correctly they were 1960s .
