hi folks, a few pottery/porcelain pieces i picked up today. the top 3 were from local auction and the turquoise pot from a charity shop

never heard of the parrot maker before, and thought it was gonna be small !!! 1930s?

i'm presuming the bisque boy is german the mark looks german anyway

have no idea on the B&W vases, they looked hand painted and are, funny mark on bases that are all the same

i'm presuming the turq pot is studio pottery

any help thoughts or info appreciated

nights like these cut me up looking out my window, imagine what my view was like before they built the new buildings in front, i had a panoramic view of the sea and beyond

bet their view is wonderful by the way

Love the bird too. Is it lusterware?

I always think that must be one of life cruelest tricks. To own a property with a view and then someone comes in and builds and blocks your view. What a total kick in the @&$!#! Your view is still way better than most people in the world have at least. Doesn’t make it sting too much less though.

no not lustre ware, does sort of look that type that could have, but thankfully not, i find that stuff a bit too much/ tacky

Certainly looks like a Katzhutte mark.

The vases make me think Thailand for some reason. The decor and the script on the base. Some sort of eastern script anyway. They look quality though and not cheap export poop.

Orrrr maybe a studio mark. Pph?

That little turquoise vase came from Raz. I was a distributor for them and carried them in my home decor shop about 7-8 years ago. There were several different shapes available and I used to buy them by the dozen. They even came with those little foot pads on them. :)

I'll see if I still have one around here that I can take some pics of. Might even have invoices from when I purchased them!
