Featured Antique lidded sugar

    IMG_20250510_120505679_HDR_copy_2203x2925.jpg Picked this up a short while ago. Lozenge marks still baffles me. I think the date is 18th April 1850. Not sure how to glean the manufacturer from this info. Looks like Coalport to me .

    The only 18th of 1850 is 18th November. The bottom number is 11 but the web page says this is the package number. The h on the left is supposed to denote month. H is April. The entry for 18th November is John rose which rings true for the appearance of the sugar bowl. Would be easier if they just printed the date on their pieces :rolleyes:

    Me looking at it cross eyed. I was looking at the wrong columns. It is indeed 18th April and package 11. Coalport John Rose.
