I have found jewelry, nothing that would knock your socks off. My big find was a red Brahim wallet for $5 last week. I went to my flea market today (it's been raining faithfully every single Saturday here) and it was slow, probably due to Mother's Day weekend. A lady was unloading and put some modern Barbies on the table, and this was mixed in.

These dolls are rare, made by Ideal toy company when I was a kid in the 60s. They made Super Girl, Mera, Bat Girl, and Wonder Woman. There was a Sears exclusive made in 1967 of a blonde Bat Girl. The brunette was the first issue. I wanted Mera so bad...never got her. This girl's cape in dried out (vinyl) and has a tear; she is missing much of her ensemble. Just her black cat suit sold for $107 on ebay.

Hello everyone. This was citywide garage sale weekend in the small city where I live. There were sales down every street and around every corner. I'm exhausted! And broke! I found a pile of stuff, most is the everyday things I buy, Corning Ware, some Tupperware, couple pieces of Pyrex. A truly lovely Princess Di doll in a beautiful beaded evening gown. These lamps were the high point of the weekend though. My research says possibly Gonder but I've not found many like them. And of course, no mark to be seen.

They are absolutely pristine! The shades have a very tiny bit of yellowing at the top inside but no heat stains from the bulbs and no dents or scuffs at all. The bases all have felt on them which I will remove if I cannot ID them otherwise. Cords are original. There is one set that comes up on Worthpoint which is beige/light brown. I will ask for help with it in discussions.
I've just unpacked them about an hour ago. If anyone wants more pics I can get them.
I had to put up a table in the garage to put all my finds from the sales! More to come as energy allows! Cheers! 20250510_145908.jpg

Those are sweet. Not my personal style, but mint condition and at a yard sale? Bingo!

I had to give $50 for them but I know for sure they will sell well.

You would pay more than $50 for just the shades.

Trying to figure out how that can be "Mr S" when the legs look like a "Miss" :)

The Miss is standing straight in front of the mirror. The photo was taken a bit more to the side, probably by the person standing next to the Miss.;)

Spectacular vintage lamp set. May not have anything written under the felt, I've found that most 1950s ceramic lamps are unmarked. I would be careful with the felt. I don't think people buy these 50's lamps so much with a maker in mind with the exception maybe of an Italian maker, these look USA made. They've got everything going for them. And the shades in that condition are the icing on the cake!

I saw the WP ones, honestly these are way more desirable in the turquoise blue. Great find.

100_8733.JPG 100_8667.JPG 100_8680.JPG 100_8692.JPG I bought a flat full of tangled jewelry at Thursday night's auction. And I mean TANGLED. I wish I had taken a before picture.

I waited at the sale for the friend I ride with to get a few more things. So, I started detangling. And I stayed up until 2:30 in the morning getting all this stuff separated. I was actually enjoying myself.

I had a few pieces of sterling but it was mostly costume. Some with designer names. I sold the necklace in the first picture within a few days. It's a Goldette.

The second pic is a type of necklace that I don't know what to call. It's a long chain with lockets on each end.

I am one of those weirdos that actually enjoys the untangling experience. It is relaxing and gives me a sense of accomplishment. I love the purse necklace.

I would call the locket necklace a lariat necklace- Google them. You can wear them backwards, too.

Thank you. I thought it might be called a lariat but hadn't had time to research.

I enjoy the untangling too. It's why I stayed up so late. But they were all untangled when I went to bed. :)
