Introduction - Vintage by Molly

Hi there and howdy y'all . . .

"Yee Haw" seemed the only really fitting mood for an almost always happy gal in Texas, so there you have it.

I am a full-time grandma teaching my 4-year-old grandson how to pick at junk shops and estate sales as well as on-line auctions, and he is hooked, too. I have created my partner in crime, and it makes it seem so much less like babysitting and more like stuff we love to do.

I just started a booth at a friend's store and my business is named "Vintage by Molly," with a "Jasper's Corner" for my grandson's treasures. I love textiles of all sorts and restore vintage and antique linens and quilts to their previous (or at least clean) splendor. I can get anything clean - unless it's a rust spot. For the life of me - I cannot get a rust spot out of anything - unless you give me a file.

Oh, let's face it - I love rusty, chippy, shabby and old - and hunting for a bargain for all of it!
