Featured Help identifying depression glass pitcher/jug pattern & manufacturer

This amber glass pitcher or jug was given to me by my paternal grandmother (1899-1979), who lived in northeastern Ohio (Alliance), USA. It was her iced tea pitcher. I think it is depression glass, but I have been unable to discover the pattern or manufacturer from the depression glass books available to me. Nor does a google image search find a match. Does anyone have an answer?

Presumably it is from the depression era (1930s) since she had other depression glass items in patterns that I have been able to identify. It think the flower in the pattern is a marigold or a mum, but maybe someone with better botanical/floral knowledge can identify it more accurately.

I used to deal in glass and china so I've seen a lot of Depression but it's been many years. I think this is more circa 1970s repro. That amber color was popular then. You may need to do a different search.

The shape and raised design looks more like EAPG to me. Ebay item #226706904992 looks pretty close to me.

Just have to comment on the truncated version of the post's title on the side bar - "Help identifying depression" - I think I know at least some of the cause.........

It cannot be 1970s. My grandmother had sold her house and moved into an apartment by then. She was not buying new items but giving her older pieces away. I believe this was at my grandmother's house in the 1950s, when I was a child.

TallCakes post shows it is circa 1886.

Since it dates to 1886 it is likely that my grandmother (born 1899) received it from her mother. This was one of my "keepers" even before I knew this (because my grandmother gave it and her Salem Pottery tea pot directly to me, the tea-aholic)--now I know it probably goes back another generation to my great-grandmother.
