    Hi all,

Any info on this 36" x 24" painting would be much appreciated. Looks like the name Siegel is on the back and may be on the lower right hand corner signed on the front. Hard to tell given the colors. Maybe Darlene Siegel?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I think more like Arlene Siegel. Not finding anyone other than a sculptor with this name.

    Brilliantly colorful...sweet an' simple.
    The woman appears pensive, serene...
    immersed in beauty.
    Thanks!

    The next question is . . .

Since the subject matter of the pottery examples found for Arlene Siegel are Native American, is the lady in the painting as well? What we can see of her features would seem so to me. There's probably a clue in the clothing as well.

The scene looks like it might be a Guatemalan/Mexican flower seller.
