Found this tray at a goodwill for $10 today. Thought it looks cool and old. Google lens pulls up one exactly like it that was sold on charish for apparently $2000. Can't seem to pull up the old listing but the description on Google states it's a 19th century qajar tray. Wondering how to verify if mines the same age and origin. Nails look old and patina seems the same. IMG_20250529_224315_(1080_x_1434_pixel).jpg IMG_20250529_224324_(1080_x_1434_pixel).jpg IMG_20250529_224335_(1080_x_1434_pixel).jpg

The wooden base certainly doesn't look 19th century. Is your tray silver?

I am not seeing Persian. Certainly not Qajar or other antique, that back looks 1960s or so.
As bluumz thought, India could be an option.

As someone who has a Chairish storefront, if you have an item listed on there - you can mark it sold elsewhere and it will show up as sold on Chairish. Doesn't necessarily mean it was sold.
