Featured Very Cool Photos

Today I bought a few boxes of photos. When I got there, they were $1 a piece. I went back when they were packing up, and if you count all the photos I ended up with, I paid about five cents each.

These are just a few that I thought were excellent. Some of them are over a century old and look like they were printed yesterday. Perfect condition.




Anyone who knows Steiff, knows Bully would be a FORTUNE today. Both would be.

to me...mostly just random people..... but,,,, the photographer... clothing and some backgrounds , r what I find interesting.
3rd pic..that's a stunning high end winter coat.... dolly & her wheels r not shabby either !!

It's all about the clothes, hair, background. I do have some beautiful women. I'm not really interested in photos of men, unless they have unique facial hair or an interesting expression. Kids are usually cute in photos. I can't stand'em in real life.

The photo with the Steiff animals would sell to a Steiff collector, if you were selling. The spool-turned baby crib would be a great place to store stuffies; you couldn't use it for the baby now.

I live in PA. We avoid Philly like the plague. I only go to concerts there.

That's one of the one's I'm going to keep. If I did sell it, I'd definitely advertise Steiff. There's a bear shop in Mt. Holly NJ. Years ago the owner was so proud of the Bully she won at auction. She paid a fortune.

Cute photos. The woman could be related to the boy in the first photo, same slight overbite and bright look in the eyes.

I lived the majority of my life on Long Island, and spent all my spare time in NYC. I lived in the city for 3 years, and then moved to Jersey, close to the train to commute to NY. New York was great. There were usually crime stories on the news. But, they were uptown where the trouble was.

In Philly, the crime is right in Center City. The place where tourists would hang out. Almost nightly there's a murder. When there's a shooting (nightly) it isn't one person shot, it's 3, 4 or 10. This is a nicer video of Kensington in Philly. Seriously? It's insanity.
