Featured ANTIQUE CHOPSTICKS & KNIFE EATING-SET. 1800s.

This is the first set I've ever bought with the original bone chopsticks still intact, which is kinda cool. In all I've got four of these. I used to have even more, but I sold them...

 

Over time....natural materials wear and fade.
The wear on the knife and case..... seem to be inconsistent with those bone sticks.
Imho...

My ivory ones show their age....

What makes you sure that the chopsticks are original to the Trousse......?

 

The sticks look like they show a lot of wear & unevenness. They don't completely match, even though they're the same length and style.

 

it's a nice set !

 

A lot of these which I've seen and/or bought, are frequently missing the chopsticks.

I have another set with the original sticks, and two more without them (which I found nice silver chopsticks to replace with!).
