Featured Chinese Bronze and enamel mirror. Antique or Yesterday?

    Agree. Canton enamel is often applied to copper.

    Nice piece! The decoration with scrolls and censers and whatnot is known as “precious objects”.

    I don't know if the same applies to metal work but with ceramics and pottery, pieces marked "China" can be dated 1890 to 1919.

    This may be a long shot, but are those lines on the perimeter of the glass what you believe to be damage? I cannot tell if those lines are in the glass or on the reflective coating on the back.

    The long shot is my being curious if those are in the glass. That it may not be glass at all but natural inclusions, possibly quartz instead of glass??

    They are on the reflective coating. There is no damage to the glass. The damage is on the top right.
    Looks like it was dropped on the edge. Amazing it didn't damage the glass.
