I have searched everywhere I can think to look to find information about this table. I don't know the age or style or the type of wood it is. I can not find any stamps or markings to lead me to identifying it. Any help anyone can give me would be very much appreciated. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

That's a good name i think, sometimes referred to as jacobean or elizabethan revival, tudor revival works well with those "cup & cover" orbs on the legs.

More things to research. Thank you. I have gone through thousands of pictures attempting to change descriptions to narrow the search. I once ran across a picture of a table like this one that sold at an auction years ago. I forgot to save the page. Anyway the sight said it was a butler table. I have since searched for days to no avail to find anything resembling this table.

A man came by my house yesterday, he was from out of state. I asked him if he had ever seen one. He said in Georgia. The guy he was with bought it from an older lady for a thousand dollars, it later appraised for 5 thousand...but this table had some sort of stamp on the bottom/underside of it. Mine does not, that I can find. The man didn't tell me what type of table it was.

Do you think the woods may be walnut, cherry and oak? Looks that way to me, but I am not so good at identifying woods.

The top looks like walnut, with a lighter wood inlay in center.

Agree circa 1920 revival style. So-called Jacobethan … LOL! Actually see some elements of William and Mary. Also agree that this is of walnut veneers with solids in a lesser wood stained to match. Can't really tell what the center inlays are from these pictures. Size? Odd proportions make me think this may have been cut down a bit.

It is 19 inches tall. 37 inches long and 21 inches wide.

At that height, I believe it has been cut down for coffee table use.

There was a fad years ago of doing that to period Victorian furniture ( sawing off the legs to make into a coffee table), naturally that sort of change hurts value.
