The Met version isn't signed.

 

So do you think it is better signed and the seal on back is ? I will post other that was with it

 

@mdlock, what programs are you using to resize, and on a computer or laptop??? Most Windows versions have a built-in app in them..........

Also, I sharpened and heightened contrast on both to see better (Hopefully!) what's printed..........didn't help ME, but 'might' help someone else!

You'll have to wait for more knowledgeable to get an accurate answer to that question.

 

It is by Utagawa Toyokuni, one of the big names. But I don't know whether yours is of the period or printed later.

I am liquidating my collection of 40+ years of acquiring and collecting. My children have no interest in holding on to or researching to see that it’s an investment. So it all turns to getting as much as possible. They don’t seem to have a problem inheriting cash. Think I’m going to invest it in silver and gold. Got news for them I don’t plan on going for a long time. God willing.
