This was one of my impuls buys, and the money went to children in need so i thought what the heck. I had hoped it was an old jar but after photo googling i only saw the reproductions. And when i looked on youtube i saw even more horrible copies being made out of plastic pots smeared with all kind of stuff like cement and plaster. But i heard that they do that because the real antique or old jars are pretty pricy.

So has my jar got age or is it a repro from india. Although the real jars also can com from india. It measures 50 cm high and 50 cm wide and is made of a coarse terracotta. These are usually modern and painted with natural yogurt and left outside to weather and give them that aged look.
