Looks like you have a 20th century blanket chest, inspired by antique chests. But let's wait for the furniture experts. I am just the welcoming committee.

Agree, early 20th century oak blanket chest. Possibly as late as 1930. Most likely English. Some arts and crafts influence, emulating a much earlier style.

 

sure looks like that hinge is a replacement ...
