Veneer or solid stained wood?

@verybrad helped me with this table before, so I hope that he or someone else could advise me now. We posted the table for sale and my son writes a letter telling me that a potential buyer wants to know it it is veneer or stained wood. (My mother refinished many of her antiques, but this was purchased used, so I do not know if she stained it. My son is at the house we inherited from my mother and I am 700 miles away at my house, so I only have the original pictures. (Sorry, I many be over-explaining!) Is it possible to determine veneer or wood from these images?

 

If you could let the leaves drop down
And take an in focus close-up of the edges of the leaf and the main table part that would help a lot

 

I'll have to see if my son can do that. I'm 700+ miles from the table. Good idea! I never thought about that shot.

 

Can tell from these pics that the top is veneer.
