Hi guys, I'm hoping for some help with identification and possibly value...
What I think I've managed to confirm so far is as follows:
    Late 18th / early 19th century lantern
Used a utility lantern rather then a decorative item.
Some clues of age include: very thin brass sheets used for the fittings, glass has ragged edges and has a bubble, not very precise handy work, hand/acid etching motif, clear glass, pulley system to lift glass and expose candle so could be easily replaced, ceiling rose thick and not refined, slotted screws, patinated fittings, hand folded/assembled chains etc. any corrections or further details including value - would be much appreciated. I think it's missing its glass chimney. Someone tried to convert it to an electric lamp.
    Many thanks

‍I meant to write late 19th century /early 20th century. Trying to find a way to edit my post. Thanks
