I recently acquired this cloisonne vase. I don't think it's anything special but the flower seemed unusual - not the usual chrysanthemum, peony or cherry blossoms. Apart from the flower itself the same stem has 2 branches with white/blue poms poms and another branch with yellow/pink poms poms. What is it?

Also what's that thing at the bottom of the first picture that the whole plant seems to be coming from. Also enlarged in pic#5.

The leaves also seem to have a lot more detail than usual. It is 6.5" high.
