Featured Little Imari trinket dish. You think Meiji?

    This beautiful little dish is 5" x 4 1/4" x 1" tall. A ribbed design with scallop edge, and of course the Butterflies!
    The bottom is almost as beautiful. I have been told this is Meiji around 1850?

    Sweet dish, I love the very Japanese asymmetrical centre panel.
    Could be, I find Imari difficult to date.

    Thank you very much.
    All I know is the back design, the shape, and the limited number of colors i.e. only blue and oranges. would make it 19th century. How early we may never know.

    Only thing I can add is my sense that Meiji begins in 1868. So if ~1850, 'twould be pre-Meiji?
