Style and age help please?

    Can anyone please help with dating and style of this kneehole desk imparticular the rounded bottom?

    I would guess 1930s,but I cant recall ever seeing a top appear smaller than the pedestal. It almost looks like a marriage,though its obviously not.

    I would agree with 30s-40s. Not sure those pulls are original.

    I have.
    In trying to find examples, many seem to be dated to the late 1800s.

    The desk sort of has that 1950s Chinese influence look. However, I think it is earlier than the 50s.

    Can you show a picture of the dovetailing on one of the drawers, please.

    Twin pedestal kneehole writing desk.
    1940's -50's
    The older ones had locks on every drawer.
    Very usable piece of furniture.
