I am searching for any information on these books. I have a total of four books which are three volumes of Frederick Schiller and one book of Goethe’s Works. They are all from the same library of F.V.N. Painter. We have not been able to date them or figure out an estimate as to their worth. Any information is greatly appreciated!

They're unlikely to have much, if any, value. Reprints in poor condition. I'll do some research for you.

Yes, Belford, Clarke & Co. sold inexpensive reprints of classic editions. Went out of business in 1892. But, surprisingly, some volumes can do quite well on eBay, most likely due to their elaborate bindings. Here's a Schiller: "FREDERICK SCHILLER • Schiller’s Works • Poems & Essays • Belford Clarke". In much better condition than yours and on offer at $34.95 (but that's an asking price.) Perhaps the F.V.N. Painter provenance will make them of interest to someone.
