Featured Tasseography Mug

    Not an antique, but I've had it for decades. Never used it, though - just a conversation piece. Tasseography is the mystic ability to read fortunes in tea leaf patterns. No ID on cup.

    I always liked these kinds of cups. I think I found who made yours. One that matches the colors and ship position is marked Made in Japan International Collectors Guild Ltd:

    There is a similar one made in England. Different ship and some of the colors:

    Thanks for your research, JB. Mine doesn't have anything on the bottom of the cup or saucer except an oval sticker that says "Made in Japan".
