Bought these cute miniatures this weekend
    image9.jpeg image8.jpeg
Mark on the the 3 handled mug:

Mark on one of the baskets:
    image6.jpeg
The marks on these, with 4 dots on both sides of the crow seem to be for 1899

The mark on the other basket is:
    image5.jpeg
The mark for 1900 is 5 dots left and 4 dots right, but this one has 4 left and 5 right, and I'm not finding any info for that combination.

the broken necklace in my profile pic is his work as well. it was supposed to be items taken off after a days hunting. But raffy broke another necklace so had to add a bowl as well (no emoji for this feeling);):)

    Count the dots. Start after 1891. 1891 + 8 dots = 1899.

All the sites I found with the date info, mention the 1900 mark as having 5 dots left and 4 dots right of the crown.

    And https://worcester-fruit.co.uk/index.php?page=datecode also mentions:
"In 1891 Royal Worcester introduced a new system of date coding by changing the shape of the crown and adding the word "England" to the backstamp.
For the next 12 years a dot was added each year first to the left of the crown and alternating until in 1903 there were 6 dots either side of the crown."
So there would always be either an equal amount of dots on both sides, or one more on the left side of the crown.
This info confused me, as to me, mine has 4 dots on the left side of the mark and 5 on the right. And now I found an image of a 1902 mark, that has 5 on the left side of the mark and 6 on the right side.
So, left and right of the crown is based on the on the point of view of the person wearing the crown, with left of the crown being the right side of the mark and vice versa?

Frankly, I don't think it matters what side of the crown the dots are on -- never heard of it. What matters is how many dots. So, 9 dots, regardless of which side of the crown, is 1900. I have Henry Sandon's "bible" on Worcester which has the date codes and he didn't say anything about dots on the left side of the crown.

Maybe one site once mentioned left and right dots, and then the rest copied that info...
