I am useless when trying to decipher silver marks. This is a very heavy bracelet, not something I would usually wear, but it's like a piece of sculpture to me. Very heavy, Antonio Pineda was famous for this thumb print technique, but I believe someone copied his work here. I did not pay $495 for this (I did pay $250....hoping I didn't get hurt.) Prices at this antique show were astronomical...there was another bracelet I looked at, a very wide heavy silver bangle, not sure if the stones were glass or amethyst, it went quickly. I googled, Google lensed, can't figure it out, so what do you see here? Thank you.

The eagle mark means 1978 at the latest, and I think 1948 at the earliest.

    Stunning Art Deco-Modernist bracelet, Marko.:)
I think you did well, it is worth it imo.
    Agree.
This specific eagle mark is the later one, ca 1955 - ca 1980. I am leaning towards earlier on in the period.
The design could be a little older, some designs continued to be made for decades.

I'd think earlier too. And a very handsome piece.

Thanks, all. I wish I had taken a picture of the amethyst bracelet. It was an upscale show by the shore, prices were cray cray, but this guy just wanted to liquidate his stock. I bought a few more little things, will post soon on the jewelry board. I saw another one on line listed as weighing close to a quarter of a pound. I dont have a scale, but I will get my jeweler to weigh it.

For a bracelet, that's a LOT. I have one that weighs in that range, and have all but given up wearing it. Weighs too much. Would I buy it again ? OH heck yes.
