I LOVE THEM! Not my style, and i have too many chairs, but i would probably figure something out too. What personality they have.

 

Those are NICE! I'd have a go at cleaning the upholstry before recovering them, since it appears to be original.

 

Hmmm.....I thought they were reupholstered already. I think I will steam clean them- does that sound good?

 

For now, to answer my husband, they are in his pool room. Need to move the exercise bike and trash can.

 

I'm here to drool over it!!!!

 

After researching a bit, they seem like circa 1980s or later reproductions of the Art Deco ones, but even those used ones are pricey.

 

They're great fun and a plush fabric will suit them.

This liquor decanter has a music box in the bottom so when you lift it a tune starts playing. It still works ! So vintage kitsch I just had to !

The needlepoint looks like a 22-count cross-stitch. It's done with cotton embroidery floss, and the smaller the stitches are the more you can curve the design. I've done just enough to know I don't want to do any more.

I never notice needlework but as I passed by I thought to myself that looks better than usual thrift needlework. Its very pretty in person. I learned a lot from your post !
